..

I have the Key to the World of Divinity.

I feel the depth of Divine...

Can I decode the ENIGMA OF ICON?

It was a gray winter day of 1996. In three days the New Year would knock at the door. Who knew what was in the bag of Aghios Vassilios for us?..

It is a pleasure to walk in the Greek provincial town and think about global matters. The icon of Theotokos depicted on the church outside wall attracted Marina's attention for a few minutes. She recalled that one week ago the phone conversation with her mother warmed her heart up. The mother's lively voice comprised mln positive waves and every conversation was a source of life-assering moments.

What is unpredictable in this life is that we can't feel that this conversation can be last, physically last... Just three days before the New Year Marina lost her mother...

For many years Marina tried to reconstruct the conversation but she heard only her mother's voice without a recognition of any word. It sounded like a prayer…After the death of her mother Marina recalled the icon seen on that day before receiving the saddened news. The Icon of Theotokos of the Sign. Marina's spiritual inner world was divided into two parts. In the discrete moments the logical way of thinking was very clear but only for a certain period of time. The second half of her soul was questioning itself: ''Why did not I feel that this was the last conversation with my mother? Why was my intuition silent?'' Suddenly she heard a velvet voice embracing her heart:

''Never regret that. Your mother knew that this was the last conversation. In her prayer to me she asked to protect you. I am Theotokos of the Sign. You will dedicate a special project to me but it will be in a quarter of a century. Pls do not be surprised. Divine scales require time. You will feel the depth of Divine and it will take a historically comparable time''.

….I am writing these lines with sererity in my soul. As a grandchild of the Armenian genocide survivor, my Armenian surname reflects the tragic page - the genocide of 1915. My Armenian grandfather was an orphan of 1915. He found refuge in Armenia. As a blessing, he adopted the surname Mchitarian (''mchitarutyun'' in Armenian means consolation).

- Holy Mother of God, you gave me consolation before birth. Thank you for such a blessing bestowed on my extended family.

- No worries. You are blessed from both sides. Your mother's surname is a blessing as well. Lazaridou. Lazarus: God is my Helper.

Live without hurry & worry,

Listen and you will be heard,

Feel and you will be heard,

Be empathetic and you will be heard,

Love and you will be loved.
